CLASSES
Our regulations are designed to be as free as possible whilst still encouraging close racing. To be eligible, the car must comply with one of the following three classes constituting the NZSCRS:
2-LITRE CLASS
a) Engine limited to 2-litre piston engines
b) Must comply with all other general club rules and be subject to the performance index
OPEN CLASS
a) General - For cars that do not comply with the first three categories for any reason, but are still within the spirit of the regulations
b) Must comply with all other general club rules
c) All forced induction engine cars are permitted in this class
Historic Class
a) Car must be at least 25 years old
b) Must comply with all other general club rules and be subject to the performance index
Formula Libre
Although not eligible for Sportscar Series points, approved Formula Libre cars are welcome to enter our meetings. Please contact us to apply for approval prior to entering an event.
